Concept art project -it/god-
Abstract: Existential art photographic project, where I seek to know -it/god- by portraying existences of planet Earth with a view to generating a subjective-eco-social impact, for fuller existences.
Existential art photographic project in which, by portraying entities (human and not) of our planet, I seek to know -it/god-, contributing to the global subjective-eco-social transformation for fuller existences. I start from the idea that -it/god- is made up of all the entities of existence, each one with its personal Story (ego), a truth. The common story of life is made up of all of these, constituting a simultaneously contradictory truth. Each story is unique and unrepeatable and that is what I try to make visible in the portraits.
The link between entities is fundamental in this project, since I understand that when we consciously interact we can take note of -it/god-. I call conscious interaction -communion- and it refers to the registration of one’s own presence and that of the other simultaneously. The entities portrayed are part of my daily life and interactions with them happen spontaneously out of curiosity alone. When the entity is human we usually communicate with signifiers, and when it is not, the communication is “silent” occurring in the sole presence of the parties.
For this project I propose an atomized god, although only as a strategy to enable photographic recording. Although we as entities make -it/god- with our unique existential experience, there are also the links between entities and the movement that occurs in all of this. Rather than seeking to define -the god- I am making its aspects visible. I use the expression “it/god”, a personal pronoun for subjects and objects, in a way that transcends the personalized constituting a more deeply relational potency.
It is a god in lower case because I imagine “it” without an ego, unlike the entities that need an ego to exist (name with a capital letter). I see portraying as a transformative act for both parties, due to the same effect of “realizing one’s own presence and that of the other” that occurs in communion (photographer and portrayed). I experience the portrait as also portraying myself, a continuity from the autobiographical to the biographical, by discovering something of myself in the other, for also being -it/god-.
It is a project that invites people to become/be aware of unity within difference from individuality.

Proyecto de arte conceptual -lo dios-
Abstract: Proyecto fotográfico de arte existencial, donde busco conocer -lo dios- al retratar existencias del planeta tierra con miras a generar un impacto subjetivo-eco-social, para existencias más plenas.
Proyecto fotográfico de arte existencial donde, a partir de retratar entes (humanos y no) de nuestro planeta, busco conocer -lo dios- , aportando a la transformación subjetivo-eco-social global para existencias más plenas. El proyecto fue iniciado en el año 2019 en la Patagonia Argentina y actualmente extiende sus horizontes. Los retratos van siendo publicados en mi página web www.mariangelamussatti.com
Parto de la idea de que a -lo dios- lo conformamos todos los entes de la existencia, cada uno con su Relato personal (ego), una verdad. El –relato común de la vida- está conformado por todos estos, constituyendo una verdad simultáneamente contradictoria. Cada relato es único e irrepetible y es lo que procuro visibilizar en los retratos.
El vínculo entre-entes es fundamental en este proyecto, ya que comprendo que cuando interactuamos conscientemente podemos tomar noción de -lo dios-. A la interacción consciente la llamo -comunión- y refiere al registro de la propia presencia y la del otro en simultáneo. Los entes retratados son parte de mi cotidiano y las interacciones con ellos suceden de modo espontáneo por la sola curiosidad. Cuando el ente es humano solemos comunicarnos con significantes, y cuando no lo es, la comunicación es “silenciosa” ocurriendo en la sola presencia de las partes.
Para este proyecto planteo un dios atomizado, aunque solo como estrategia para habilitar el registro fotográfico. Si bien los entes conformamos -lo dios- con nuestra vivencia existencial única, también están los vínculos entre-entes y el movimiento que ocurre en todo ello; más que buscar definir a -lo dios- estoy haciendo visible sus aspectos. El uso de “lo” en este proyecto remite a un pronombre personal que trasciende lo personalizado, constituyendo más una potencia profundamente relacional.
Es un dios en minúscula porque lo figuro sin ego, a diferencia de los entes que para existir necesitan un ego (nombre con mayúscula). Veo el retratar como un acto transformativo para ambas partes, por el mismo efecto de “darse cuenta de la propia presencia y de la del otro” que se da en la comunión (fotógrafa y retratado). Vivo el retrato como un retratarme también a mí misma, una continuidad de lo autobiográfico a lo biográfico, al descubrir algo de mí en el otro, por ser también -lo dios-.
Es un proyecto que invita a hacer/se consciente de la unidad con la diferencia desde la individualidad.
