After years of sexual abuse suffered during my childhood and adolescence, I was able to consciously and fully reclaim my body. I became more sensitive to my emotions, reconnected with my soul, and rediscovered the sense of touch. My spirituality is no longer struggling with my human incarnation; my body is no longer a receptacle of woman's pain in this patriarchal society. Today, I am germinating anew, my womb once again a home for my dreams. I am transforming sorrow into pleasure.
This videoart piece is an annex of "Autografiarme project" (Autograph me project), that is composed by six videoarts.
Autografiarme Project is an intimate process of existential exploration, where I recognice and accept myself in my history of sexual abuse, conecting with my feeling of unity.
Thanks to feminism and art, to their gentle education of empowerment of softness, I was able to rise again and again... making death the best friend of my life, thanks to "her" is that I am alive today. To die infinitely, to become compost, thus being able to exist in a constant, renewed becoming.
