Abstract: Autografiarme Project is the second part of an intimate process of existential exploration. While in my previous project Marcos Blancos I was recognizing and accepting myself in my history of sexual abuse, in Autografiarme I connect with the feeling of unity. Artistic video art project, which I carried out during the year 2024. Uniting the tools of video, textile collage and performance, at the service of existential exploration. It is the continuation of the Marcos Blancos Project (exhibited in 2023). Conceptually, I deepened my autobiographical exploration, which began in 2014, where I revalued my SELF, personal space, individuality and independence. It is composed of 6 bodies of work in video art format, which seek to manifest the simultaneous progression of being one, One, ONE. Taking proprioceptive steps towards personal retuning means that “I appear” more and more and the other “appears to me” as a reflection and difference. In this biodiversity I feel more united to the world. I propose the following order to contemplate the artistic project:
1- El marco blanco: Where I come from, reading and recording in video art of the Marcos Blancos Project statement.
2- Bordes: Among the species, the female hyena is one of the most spontaneous with its aggressiveness and has a level of testosterone so high that its clitoris is almost the size of a hyena penis. Her aggressiveness is a delicious quality that I wanted to incorporate, crossing my DNA with hers. I honor my teeth, I honor my individuality, I honor my Being. Being one, One, ONE.
3- Desenmarcados: Out of fear of the existential void I filled myself. The works as an exorcism of the forms that I copied thinking of them as my Being, today unframing them from my interior. Death is my best friend, it is because of it that I can live.
4- Ùltimo te: Meeting with my ancestors, celebrating the death of life.
5- Serpiente epi-genética: The snake as a unison body that transmutes incessantly, always being the same. The DNA line sets a trend and epigenetics varies its expression.
6- Yo Yegua Negra: Surrealist autobiography. Going deeper into the anchoring of the self is that I embrace my ego, the cornerstone to exist.
I thank my friends, family and art therapeutic professionals who collaborated in the realization of this project and who, with their mere existence, helped me reawaken the curiosity of living. I thank myself for allowing myself to be.
