"The day pigs fly"—this is a very Argentinian phrase; I don't know if it's used in the US. It speaks of utopia, something difficult to achieve but that can happen.
Here I am,
I see many things that I dislike. I see disconnection; I feel lost amidst the noise of culture shock. I stay still and watch as stimuli bounce and explode around me. I cry a little, I cry a lot, I release tension.
I see pig farms as I drive along the highways. Pigs born on wooden stilts, who spent their lives without touching the ground. Pigs never given an identity, only Bacon's.
"The day pigs fly"—the day they have an identity of existence in this consumer market.
I cut your meat in the kitchen, with my sharp knife. I cut your buttocks into tacos, into nachos, I cut you into little pieces thinking about how you were, thinking about how you are now... I think of your identity

"El día que los cerdos vuelen" , esta es una frase muy argentina, desconozco si se utiliza en eeuu. habla sobre la utopía, algo dificil que suceda pero que puede suceder.
Aquí estoy,
veo muchas cosas que me disgustan. veo desconexión, me siento perdida entre el ruido del choque cultura. Me quedo quieta y veo como los estímulos rebotan y explotan al rededor mío. Lloro un poco, lloro mucho, libero tensión
veo las granjas de cerdos mientras paseo con mi auto las carreteras. Cerdos que nacieron sobre maderas, que pasaron su vida sin tocar la tierra. Cerdos que nunca se les dió identidad, solo la de Bacon.
El "día que los cerdos vuelen" el día que tengan identidad de existentes en este mercado de consumo.
Corto tú carne en la cocina, con mi cuchillo afilado. Corto tus glúteos hechos taco, hechos nachos, te corto en pedacitos pensando cómo fuiste, pensando cómo estarás... te pienso identidad
